The paper describes a method for developing decision support systems for prescribing complex treatment. It is based on the creation of a task-oriented shell, the key component of which is a generalized ontology that allows one to generate knowledge about various types of treatment (medicinal, restorative, surgical) regardless of the branch of medicine. This makes it possible to create a single solver, which provides a significant reduction in system development costs. The work describes the adaptation of the ontology to various types of treatment and the terminology of the knowledge base developer—a domain expert. The ontology is implemented on the IACPaaS cloud platform and is currently actively used to create knowledge bases in various fields of medicine.
